2003 GreenLight Annual Event and Awards
On 21 May 2003, the European Commission organised the 2003 GreenLight Annual Event and Awards in Milan at the Fiera di Milano, during the INTEL Show.
About 100 people followed part or all of the event. At the end of the day, the GreenLight awards were given to the most progressive Partners and Endorsers. This year the GreenLight awards went to Apoteket (Sweden), Comune di Trezzano Rosa (Italy), Banca Monte dei Paschi (Italy), Neukauf Merz (Germany), and Lorentz Casimir Lyceum (NL). These Partners were selected from the 100 GreenLight partners based on their efforts to reduce lighting energy use during 2002, report their success, and encourage others to join GreenLight. The GreenLight Endorser award was given to Diputacion di Valencia (Spain) for having enrolled and assisted several municipalities in GreenLight.
The awards were delivered by two distinguished guests: the President of the Associazione Nazionale Produttori Illuminazione (Mr. Guzzini) and the President of the European Federation of National Manufacturers Associations for Luminaires and Electrotechnical Components (Mr. Borsani).
You can see below the program of this event and download the different powerpoint presentations showed in this workshop.
