More information about this site

Beside raising public awareness about energy-efficient lighting in general, this web site is designed to be the main information centre of the European GreenLight Programme. It is to be used as one of the central promotional vehicles of this Programme and as a "virtual" backbone for all GreenLight activities.

Help us develop the content of this site into a truly comprehensive and regularly updated resource. Please submit information and links to this site by writing to the GreenLight webmaster (N.B.: GreenLight editorial staff reserve the right to include only information of relevance to the site and make changes to the information as required).

Do not hesitate also to make a link to this site from your home page and tell people about its existence through your publications, newsletters and emails.

The site is presently being managed by the European Commission Joint Research Centre on behalf of the Directorate-General for Energy and Transport (DG TREN) of the European Commission. It receives important contributions from the national GreenLight representatives who bring local information and translations of the most important documents. All this information is subject to a disclaimer and a copyright notice.

Please send your comments, queries and general feedback to the GreenLight webmaster.

The GreenLight website is constantly being updated and improved. If you have previously visited the site you may have to click the Refresh / Reload button on the toolbar of your browser in order to view the new page. This is because your computer automatically saves a copy of each page visited in order to avoid having to go and fetch the page each time you want to view it. This speeds up the access to a regularly visited website. You may therefore be viewing an old page.
